Um dia desses, eu estava assistindo ao "Jornal do SBT" e acompanhei uma matéria muito interessante. Eles falavam sobre um novo movimento, chamado BookCrossing. Segue um resumo retirado do site oficial: O BookCrossing é um conceito que pode ser resumido como a prática de deixar um livro num local público, para ser encontrado e lido por outro leitor, que por sua vez deverá fazer o mesmo. O objetivo do Bookcrossing é “transformar o mundo inteiro numa biblioteca”. Os membros desta comunidade de leitores, que não conhece limites geográficos, possuem um sentimento de partilha tão grande que não se importam de libertar seus próprios livros em locais como cafés, transportes públicos, bancos de praças e outros lugares que a imaginação ditar, para que outras pessoas os possam ler, ao invés de manter as obras paradas nas estantes. É uma forma de tornar o acesso à cultura e especificamente à leitura verdadeiramente universal.
Resumindo: Se você leu um livro muito legal e quer compartilhar com outras pessoas, é só ir até o site, cadastrar o livro e adquirir um número chamado BCID. No próprio site, você imprime uma pequena etiqueta (foto), cola no livro juntamente com o BCID, e por fim, divulga no seu perfil em que local você vai "liberta-lo".
É um movimento novo no Brasil, tanto que a parte de cadastro no site ainda é em inglês. Achei a ideia bem legal, mais encontrei alguns pontos negativos:
1- É difícil conseguir localizar um livro. Eu me cadastrei e procurei saber onde a galera costuma deixar os livros. Aqui em São Paulo, por exemplo, a maioria deixa em alguma estação do metrô. COMO eu vou chegar a tempo de conseguir pegar o livro se milhões de pessoas pegam metrô todos os dias? Difícil.
2- Imagino que pensando no problema que eu acabei de relatar, foram criados alguns "pontos fixos" do BookCrossing. Pelo menos é o que divulga o site. Mas pesquisando no site todo eu não consegui achar nenhum local aqui em São Paulo. (Se você acessar o site e achar, me avise..rs).
Repito, é um movimento novo no Brasil, e por conta disso que acho que algumas coisas ainda devem ser aprimoradas. Então, se você estiver andando por aí e do nada encontrar um livro "abandonado", abra e dê uma olhadinha. Você pode ter a chance de ler um livro muito legal e fazer com que outras pessoas leiam tb :)
